Hi I am new to this forum and thought that I would let everyone know that I have butcher hogs 240-250 lbs for sale in my area. I use Johnson Locker in Essex, IA. They are given antibiotics when young but no steriods. I have some that will be ready at mid March 09.

Raising these have became a passion of mine right along with the rest of farming. Hope to hear from everyone that enjoys this too.

what breeds/and do you sell piglets?

Cross breed and no I do not sell piglets.

How much do you sell them for?

I am asking $150 and they weigh between 240#-260# from what I have heard this is a fair price since I do take them to the butcher and am willing to work with other butchers if the need arises. From time to time customers like to come and pick them up themselves and I have no problem with that as well.
