Fresh SPIN Farms is a new spin on fresh started to demonstrate Small Plot Intensive farming techniques and provide training for Urban Farmers, Davis High School students, and College Interns. We grow a variety of vegetables year round at Fresh SPIN Farms concentrating on heirloom varieties and greens. Our multiple demonstration sites lend themselves to a Kitchen Garden style of operation including custom growing of specialty and culturally appropriate varieties, edible landscaping including citrus, cherries, apples, and avocado, and micro-greens. When combined and completed, we will have nearly 3 acres of production area to provide both variety and quantities appropriate for our diverse population.
