Fresh Stop is a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program with an urban development twist. We sell weekly food baskets that are priced on a sliding scale so that all can enjoy the harvest! (we are a nonprofit organization). All of our produce is grown in central Kentucky - mostly in Harrison County. Our weekly baskets consist of 6-10 different fruits and vegetables. Our distribution is on Sunday afternoon in downtown Lexington (please contact us if you are interested in becoming a member). Summer of 2012 will be our fourth season! We provide a CSA-style market for previously tobacco dependent farmers while also providing local and healthy produce to the downtown Lexington community (where there are no grocery stores).
