Frog Bottom Farm is a small community supported farm in Appomattox County, Virginia. We grow vegetables and a few small fruits, and in 2011 began raising pigs and laying hens on mixed pasture and woodland. Our food is available to folks in the Richmond, Farmville, Appomattox, and Lynchburg areas through our CSA program and at farmers markets. We believe in being as gentle as possible to the land, to ourselves as farmers, and to you as eaters. To that end, we farm using only low impact, sustainable methods: no synthetic pesticides or herbicides and no harmful fertilizers. You can learn more about our growing methods on our website. Good food, carefully grown and creatively shared, is a powerful tool for cultivating strong family and community connections.
