We grow culinary, medicinal, and dye herb plants, and some perennials, leaning heavily towards natives. (7 echinaceas) We sell primarily in season (Late March-July)at the main Charlotte Farmers Market off of Tyvola, although we sell by appointment at the farm. We use organic methods, but prefer the term "sustainably grown" since the government has decided that organic is another area they need to regulate.
We are now offering dressed rabbit meat, raised without medication. This is a delicious, low-fat, high protein, heart healthy meat, and the manure is some of the best around-just ask our herbs!
We raise several breeds of meat rabbits, and have been fortunate enough to acquire American Chinchillas, an endagered breed featured in Slow Foods Ark of Taste.
