Full Plate Farm is located on a gentle slope among oaks and firs in Ridgefield, Washington, 18 miles North of Portland. We specialize in growing winter vegetables and believe that people should have good food, even when it's cold and wet outside.
November through March share members receive vegetables harvested the same day to be picked up at drop sites around Portland and SW Washington.
What will you find in the share? The staples of the Winter share are carrots, beets, kales, collards, chicories (endives, escaroles, radicchios), leeks, winter squash, garlic, and herbs. Mixed in throughout the season are potatoes, parsnips, turnips, parsley root, rutabagas, cabbages, brussels sprouts, popcorn and other great winter vegetables.
