Our goal is to serve faculty, students and the broader community through education and scholarly activities. The Education Department offers classes throughout the year in subjects ranging from composting, bird watching, sustainable gardening practices, regional agricultural history, wildflower trips and many more. Lectures, classes and workshops are available for both adults and children. The Fullerton Arboretum, the largest botanical garden in Orange County, serves the community as a premier resource for ecological, horticultural and historical education. Encompassing 26 lush acres, the Arboretum has assembled a permanent collection of over 4,000 unique and unusual plant species from around the world.
