Gaia's Farm is the home to pasture-raised poultry: Chickens, Ducks, Geese and Turkeys. Right now the main products sold to local markets are eggs, but pasture-raised broilers will follow soon. We have a colorful melange of heritage-breed chickens and just as colorful melange of eggs for sale.
Within the next 4 years, the orchard will be able to produce plenty of citrus (lime, lemon, orange, etc), bananas, cacao, avocado and more tropical delights. All of this is possible with the poultry roaming freely in the orchard and doing their duty of catching bugs, eating weeds and fertilizing the soil as they go along.
We are hoping that within the next year we will be able to also offer goat, cow and sheep cheese to the local buyer.....but you never know what will happen next on a farm.
