Our mission is to work our small organic farm in a sustainable way to provide fresh vegetables and other seasonal produce to the surrounding community. We are following a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model. On the average, we grow for about 50 members for our two harvesting seasons of the year: Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter. Membership enrollments are open in January and June. We are dedicated to the concept of being a local provider of healthy and fresh produce. True to organic standards, we use no dangerous pesticides or herbicides, no chemical fertilizers, no genetically modified organisms. We harvest on our 3-5 acres of fertile Texas soil, so most of our own produce comes no farther than the distance you drive to get to our farm. We are located right between Waxahachie and Midlothian, Texas.

At the beginning of every growing season, we mix up a special soil "recipe" to treat our fields before we start planting. Here's what we put into our soil in various amounts: organic mushroom compost, dry fertilizer, lava sand, Texas green sand, dry molasses, soft rock phosphate, sulfur, biostimulants, cornmeal, humate, worm castings. We'll also go back at intervals during the growth process to refresh the plants with another dose of fertilizer. See our complete Harvest Chart on our website.
