71 days. Open polinated Heirloom. Indeterm. Really cute, 2 to 3 oz, pale yellow fruits with a pink orange blush and fuzzy skins are produced prolifically over a long season. Crack resistant, they have a simple, sweet flavor and keep producing when others have given up. Bring them inside before first frost and they will keep for several weeks. A fun tomato to grow, our 4 year old daughter loves snacking on these. This tomato was a real stand out in our garden this last cool, rainy, disease ridden summer.
Germinated at 87%.
|Lifecycle:||1 (0: N/A, 1: annual, 2: perennial, 3: biennial)|
|Soil:||Adaptable. Tomatoes need phosphorous, potassium, and calcium more than nitrogen. Bone meal is perfect. excess nitrogen produces large plants with fewer, later fruits.|
|Propagation / Germination:||Start seeds inside 5 to 6 weeks before last frost. Keep soil lightly moist, not wet. 77 degrees is optimum, but will germinate from 60 to 85 degrees.|
|Water:||Water weekly if necessary. Tomatoes appreciate a deep mulch, but wait until the soil has warmed and plants are growing rapidly.|
