David garden phlox is deer resistant, and attracts butterflies. This phlox provides clumps of bright white flowers from June through September. This phlox comes from a 5 year root stock that was started in New Hampshire. It is a reliable grower, and is an easy care perrenial.
The phlox does best in full sun, but will tolerate partial shade. It enjoys rich well draining soil, but will thrive in most soil.It will reach heights of 2-3 feet, and produce floral heads of 5 to 6 inches. The David phlox will spread, and it's best to plant 18 inches apart in well prepared soil. Each order will contain a healthy plant(s), and planting instructions.
