Our large CSA box contains enough produce for 2-4 people per week. Our half sized CSA box is perfect for couples. We grow year round so planting is done weekly in our fields and greenhouses depending on the season.

Most CSAs require yearly or at least quarterly pre-payments. We understand the difficulty that may place on some customers so we tailored our system to meet those needs. Payments can be prepaid 4 weeks at a time and EBT payments can be made weekly by swiping your card upon pick up or delivery using our mobile payment system.

We offer a wide variety of naturally grown garden produce grown the old fashioned way. No chemical pesticides, herbicides or fumigants are used on our gardens and all our farming practices are carefully documented and in accordance with Organic OMRI standards. We are absolutely No-GMO and No-Factory Farming. We use sustainable responsible organic and natural farming practices. We develop and maintain a heritage seed bank which is ever expanding.

We use our own plant-based, home-made compost mix (green chop) which never contains animal manure and there are no animals on the farming premisies. We water with well and rainwater (no canal or tail waters for our plants!) and we supplement our soil with a customized low dose, balanced fertilizer such as "Mother Nature's Cuisine." We practice crop rotation and use beneficial insects as well as dish soap and water jet sprays to combat pests. Weeds are hoed out by hand. We keep beehives in the middle of the gardens to act as our quality control and our bees are thriving!

Our UC Davis trained Affiliate Laboratory removes inherent viruses and diseases from production plants without altering the plant's genetic structure or variety in any way. A non-GMO alternative that is more effecitve and earth friendly than altering DNA in the plants natural genetic structure. Meristemming produces a clean, virus and disease-free seed crop for the commercial farmer, organic farmer and even home gardeners, which in turn produces larger yields and healthier crops. Because of the "clean-room" requirements of our Meristem facility our greenhouses are under strict scrutiny and regular state inspections.

We have 40+ years of gardening, farming and commercial field experience and know our produce! In addition to a long list of the best tasting heritage varieties, we also specialize in nutrient dense foods such as sweet potatoes, both orange fleshed and white fleshed which are available year round. We even grow the rare purple-fleshed Okinawan sweet potatoes, though they are seasonal only. We have Goji berries both fresh and dried when in season, Yacon and some occasional raw comb honey from our bees. These are known to be among the most nutrient dense foods you can consume. Some statistics put sweet potatoes and Goji berries at #1 and #2 respectively. We have some unusual and hard to obtain offerings as well such as Roselle which makes a colorful, natural blood pressure lowering drink and sweet potato leaves which are used like spinach. See our website for recipes.

We load our CSA Boxes with the largest variety possible. If there is an herb or vegetable you would like to see included, please ask! We also custom grow for restaurants and professional chefs.

Each box is from $15.00 to $24.00 which is a fraction of what the same produce (if you could even find it all) would cost at your local store. Our produce is picked the day your receive it, all naturally field ripened flavors and nutrients. Have the peace of mind that comes with knowing where and how the food was grown along with the convience of our delivery service right to your door step at home or work. Its economical as well as time saving. We do the work and your family eats healthy and nutritious farm fresh food.

We plant our favorite selections of the best tasting varieties of garden produce, just like Grandpa did, and test new ones constantly in case we come across something we like better. In addition to the garden produce, there are seasonal fruits as well. Grapes, apples, citrus, kiwi, pears, figs, peaches, strawberries and the like. If there is something you truly find you don't like, perhaps you could share it with family or a neighbor. The boxes are loaded as the season dictates to give you the best taste and nutrition available that day from our farms.

A typical summer box will contain some or all of the following: cherry tomatoes, a few large tomatoes, a few small zucchini, yellow squash, slicing cucumbers, sweet corn, okra, an eggplant, black eyed peas, green beans, a head of garlic, garlic chives, a few gourmet sized sweet potatoes, spud potatoes, bell peppers, perhaps greens of some sort, plums, nectarines, mango-necatrines, pluots, peaches or other fruit, a melon or winter squash to bake and an occasional oddity such as almonds, comb honey, yacon, roselle, goji berries, hot peppers, jams/preserves or sweet potato leaves.

Research has linked some colors to higher antioxidant levels in foods as well as increased health benefits, which we agree with. We grow some unusual colors of the common varieties of garden goodies for this reason such as purple sweet potatoes, purple spud potatoes, purple hull black eyed peas, purple pod green beans, purple ground nuts, purple cauliflower, purple cabbage, purple carrots, red carrots, red chard, red collards, red cauliflower, red cabbage, red fleshed spud potatoes, blue fleshed potatoes, orange cauliflower, neon colored swiss chard, and other unusual colors of the common produce items. We grow the sweetest known varieties of corn and the highest sugar content types of melons, watermelon and winter squash. Sweet potatoes are our specialty and are fully cured to enhance their natural sweetness. Ours are of a quality you won't find in the markets and we advise tasting them plain first, because they are very sweet on their own.

We look forward to adding you to our families that are eating healthy seasonal field ripened foods.

Enjoy adventures in healthy eating......from
