gardendwellers Farm

gardendwellers Farm is a working herb farm and outdoor education business. We specialize in naturally grown culinary and tea herbs as well as some small fruits. We sell only fresh herbs and fruits. We also offer a wide variety of classes and tours at the farm. Topics range from sustainable gardening, cooking with herbs, to using natural items for health and home. gardendwellers Farm featurers outdoor living labs, display beds, large herb production beds, a 500 plant rhubarb lot, and a labyrinth.

gardendwellers Farm sells fresh herbs from mid-July to frost (usually Sept.) to farmers markets, restaurants, whole food stores, grocery stores, and on farm sales. Our fresh herbs include: basil, chives, dill weed, thyme, sage, winter savory, spearmint, lemon balm, lemon basil, tarragon, fennel, parsley, and more. We also have limited quantities of tea herbs. We can custom grow herbs for use in other products, such as soaps and potpourri's, upon your request.

Please feel free to visit the farm at any time, bring a picnic and enjoy the scenery. Our schedule of classes and tours is posted to our web site in March of each year and includes approximately one class per week throughout the summer.

Be sure to join us on Labor Day weekend each year for our Produce Party. Each year we host a one-day farmers market the Saturday before Labor Day. The event is held outdoors, weather permitting, and new produce vendors are always welcome. We supplement the day with contests, presentations, and classes. The Produce Party event runs from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM and is moved indoors if rain threatens.

We are located on the Lake Region Birding Trail and close to the shores of Devils Lake. The perfect place for bird watching, fishing, or outdoor walks.
