Garfield Farm Museum

Garfield Farm Museum is a historically intact former 1840s Illinois prairie farmstead and teamster inn being restored as an 1840s working farm museum. Tours of the farmstead and buildings, tours of the prairie, oak savanna, and wetlands, special events such as the mid May Rare Breeds Livestock & Poultry Show or the August Heirloom Garden Show all deal with subjects of sustainability, genetic diversity and the future of land use in the most fertile region of the world.
