GeerCrest Farm

Our farm is nestled in the Waldo Hills area east of Salem, Oregon. The homestead was established in 1848 by pioneers Ralph and Mary Geer. The house they built in 1851 still stands and is home to their descendants and the people who work the farm.

Our mission is to live and teach agrarian culture, encouraging people to rely on each other and co-operate with nature to grow food for themselves and others.

We are part of a network of small farms, which allows us to support local and urban communities with healthy, seasonal food.  In turn, we are sustained by everyone who purchases our products, visits us to experience farm-life education, and becomes financial stewards of the farm.
