Nice peppers, thick and crunchy, mildly hot - about 1500 Scoville Units (For comparison, a bell pepper has no rating, a habanero is rated at betweeen 350,000 to 580,000 Scoville Units.)
These are real beauties...peppers mature from green to a brilliant red. This plant is a heavy producer under optimal conditions
Good to eat fresh, freeze, pickle or dehydrate.
Start pepper seed indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost date for your area. Transplant to your garden in a location which receives full (6 continuous hours per day) sun, and with well drained soil. To make your peppers really happy, amend the soil generously with composted organic material.
