This is an old heirloom from North Carolina that is very popular because of its superb flavor! Fruits are deep pink with yellow/green shoulders when ripe and grow quite large, often weighing over 1 lb. each. Fruits are very meaty and have very few seeds. This variety is thought to be one of the original parents of the "Mortgage Lifter" variety of tomato.
