Our farm will open as a Bed and Breakfast in September 2010. Our farm is located in beautiful Halifax County, Virginia and is within the Staunton River Historical Area and only 2 miles from the Staunton River Battlefield State Park. Our onsite farm store will be open from March through November selling organically raised produce and fruit raised on our farm. We have apples, peaches, cherries, plums,necterines, and grapes. We sell our own homemade jams, jellies, relishes, fresh baked goods, cured hams, bacon, and smoked chickens and turkeys as well as fresh eggs from our Road Island Red free range chickens. We raise Chinese Geese, Ducks, Heritage Turkeys, Piedmontese Pasture Fed Cattle, Mulefoot and Tamworth Hogs.

Giant Oaks Farm and Orchard is currently working with the USDA for Organic Certification and all necessary practices are already in place. We are raising Piedmontese Pasture fed Cattle, Mulefoot and Tamworth Hogs, Free Range Chickens, Geese, Ducks, and Turkeys. We have an onsite farm store open in March of 2010 where we will sell our own produce and fruit from our orchards in addition to hams, bacon, smoked chickens and turkeys, jams. jellies, fresh baked goods, cider, and juices.
