Our Meli Stix contain real Hawaii honey from the blossom of the rare Kiawe tree. This tree is known for its large thorns and its delightful smoke flavor when used for barbeques. The flavor of the honey is like none other in the world~light and sweet.

Our special bees have been captured by hand from the wild here on Molokai, which is also known among the islands as the "friendly isle". Since we are an isolated island, we have been able to keep out many of the diseases mainland apiaries have among their colonies. This means we don't have to medicate our colonies, even in the off season. Our bees are healthy and friendly, and we want to keep it that way.

Our name says it all: Molokai (the Friendly Isle) Meli (honey).

Meli Stix are a perfect way to sweeten those exotic teas or cup of tropical coffee. We use them here in Hawaii as healthy candy for our keiki (children) as well as in our day packs for quick energy while exploring the Mauka (mountains). Our keiki include them in their beach bags to give them a quick "pick-me-up" up after a great surf and to tide them over until kau kau (dinner) time.

Our favorite way to use Meli Stix is to send them off with our friends as "Aloha from Hawaii".
