Gladhour Farm raises registered Irish Dexter cattle (a heritage breed) and Babydoll Southdown sheep (also a heritage breed) for breeding stock, and pasture finishes Dexters and Dexter crosses for natural beef with no hormones, subtherapeutic antibiotics, GMOs, or pesticides. Row crops are certified organic, so occasional bags of wheat or flax may be obtained, but the main local product available is grass-finished, fine-grained, tender USDA-inspected meat. Halves, wholes, sampler packs, or pkgs of ground only. Jerky at $20.05 per pound includes shipping. Internship possibility.
