Glasbern Farm uses sustainable, organic practices to raise healthy animals and vegetables. Our animals include Scottish Highland Beef Cattle, Berkshire Pigs, Katahdin Sheep, and pastured chicken and turkeys, all raised on our 100 acres of pastures and woodlots.
We have a long-term commitment to the environmental management of our farmland through rotational grazing of our animals and organic farming/gardening practices. We are proud to be 100% GMO free.
We are an active member of the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture, and our grass-fed beef recently won "Farmer's Choice Runner-up" at PASA's 2010 Grass-fed Beef Cook-off in Latrobe, PA.
Our farm products are available in our Glasbern Inn restaurant and all week long at the Inn for walk-in retail purchases.
