110 days to dry. Certainly the most gorgeous corn in the world. Harvesting it is better than an Easter egg hunt. Every ear has different, incredible color combinations, although all the ears from one plant are similar. And, we got 3 to 7 ears per plant! If you give this corn extra space, each plant will put out 3 to 5 runners that almost all produce good ears. It is prettiest when freshly harvested. As it drys it looses it's opaqueness. Can be eaten in the sweet stage, when the colors are pale. Or dry and grind it and cook with the flour. It has a reputation as a popcorn, too, but ours did not pop well. We maybe did not dry it enough. If you want to use it for decoration, wait to harvest it until right before you use it. This corn was bred from ancient native corns from the Southwest by Carl Barnes, and improved by Greg Schoen. It was an internet sensation last year, but seed was extremely hard to come by and expensive. Still very rare and very delightful. Germinated at 95%
