Description Common Name: Cabbage, Glory of Enkhuizen Latin: Cabbage Brassica oleracea var. capitata alba This is a wonderful heriloom variety that has been around since 1899, where it originated in Enkhuizen Holland. 10 pound heads that are good for coleslaw, cabbage rolls, and sauerkraut. This cabbage also keeps well. I have added cabbage to my list of medicinal's. Cabbage has the ability to prevent many types of cancer, and fresh cabbage will cure stomach ulcers. (It did mine!)
