Glut Food Co-op has been serving the community since 1968. We began as a warehouse and evolved into a workers co-op that is open to the general public.
We are a vegetarian store that has a variety of bulk foods, including - beans, grains, granola, baking supplies, flours, nutritional yeat, herbs and spices. We also have a produce department that is predominantly organic.
We have a close relationship with Tuscarora Organic Growers and feature thier fresh local organic produce when in season.
We also carry dairy products from Trickling Springs, a local dairy.
We carry a wide variety of cheeses - domestic, imported as well as non-dairy cheese alternatives.
We carry Fair Trade products, including bananas, coffee, tea, chocolate and bulk sugar.
