We know our meat from beginning to end. Lovingly raised by Julie Bolton of Groff's Content Farm in Rocky Ridge, Maryland, or similar farms in southeastern Pennsylvania, our meat is organic, local and grass-fed and finished resulting in tasty, lean meat. No hormones or antibiotics are used. Transported for less than an hour and a half, the animals are slaughtered, butchered and USDA inspected at George Ruppersberger and Sons in Baltimore. A typical box of lamb contains 7-9 pounds. A typical box of beef contains 23-25 pounds. Boxes consist of a variety of mixed cuts which are frozen and wrapped for freezer storage. Cuts are individually wrapped, labeled and marked with weights.
