Goodness Grows

Organic whole system farming is key to our sustainability! Small grains, vegetable plants, CSA subscriptions for our goat milk products and soaps, produce fruits and veggies, and special CSA meat packages. Convenient location on us route 220 between Bedford, PA and Cumberland, MD we have in town pick-ups once a week. Early and late harvesting are available since we use cold frames to extend our season. We now offer a winter CSA that includes products from our small grains that we grow right here.

Community composting is encouraged on our farm and we can accommodate up 287 cubic yards at a time. Biodiversity and sustainable practices are a way of life here, as well as low impact land management. We offer a variety of wholesome veggies, including our very own heirloom tomato - "Houseworth."

You may contact us to tour the farm. We also offer discount for work packages.

Houseworth Tomato - This is a variety that Rob's grandfather brought from Italy in the 1950's. This sweet and tasty beauty ripens to a pinkish, fleshy, heart shape and is great for just about any application you can think of for a tomato. I have made ketchup, sauce, salsa and the very best fried green tomatoes I have ever eaten with these wonders. We have kept this variety true with the help of Rob's uncle Mervyn.
