Gottschell Farm is a very small farm started in 2007 located near Limeport in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania. We grow a wide variety of vegetables, herbs, herb plants and cut flowers including heirlooms using intensive growing methods on about an acre of land. Our products are grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, synthetic fertilizers or genetically modified materials. Instead we use compost, cover crops, crop rotations and diversity for fertility, disease and pest issues. These are just a few not to mention lots of hand weeding and hoeing. Our vegetables, herbs and flowers are harvested fresh for markets and CSA at the peak of readiness. We take care to thoroughly clean the produce, properly store and neatly present it for markets, pick ups and delivery.
Salad mix is the crop we grow the most of and is most loved by our customers.
