Make your local harvest meals extra special with fancy vegetables such as fingerling potatoes, purple beans, yellow carrots, tomatillas, extra baby mustard or arugula greens, hot peppers, unusual heirloom tomatoes, and some fresh herbs and edible flowers. The gourmet option can be added to either the smaller or larger shares. The photo shows the beautiful valley and fantastic soil with some romenesque growing for an extra gourmet share.
The Elizabeth Telling Farm has operated a CSA program for ten years, growing produce using sustainable practices and organic seeds and fertilizers. We are located along the pristine Captina Creek in Belmont County, Ohio. Vegetables are raised on about 12 acres of beautiful bottom land which is protected by steep hills from any neighboring conventional farms. The chickens and animals graze on the hill tops.
