Homesteading Series: Starting Your Own Seeds
Make this the year you put in that garden you've been thinking of. We'll show you the basics of starting vegetables from seed. You'll plant tomatoes and peppers -- the mainstay of any garden, along with a few surprises. Your plants will have plenty of time to get big and strong before they go into the ground or into pots after the last frost in May. Come dressed for the weather. We will be working in a barn so don't wear your fancy clothes. Bring gardening gloves if you use them. You'll go home with a tray full of vegetables ready to start the business of growing. Advance registration, along with payment, is required. Call 440-829-3644 or e-mail email@example.com to register. Class is limited to eight. $25 -- includes all seeds and planting materials.
