Granata Farms is a multi-plot family operation farming in the core city, less than a half mile from Denver's urban center. We have a CSA, and sell to local restaurants and speciality markets in the immediate vicinity of the gardens. Though not certified, we follow all the national standards for organic production. We support a non-profit restaurant that feeds the hungry by discounting their purchases and asking our CSA members and other customers to also make a donation of 10% of that restaurant's purchases from the farm. We work with our commercial customers to determine what varieties of vegetables they want and grow to their specifications. We supply a local flower shop which is moving more toward "green" flower arrangements. We coordinate with Eastern Plains Cooperative for the distrubution of natural eggs, poultry and heritage turkeys.
