At what other market can you do all your food shopping, sample local wine, check out a book at the Brooklyn Public Library, go the Brooklyn Museum, or take a walk in Prospect Park or the Brooklyn Botanic Garden? Grand Army Plaza, open since 1989, is our flagship Brooklyn market (our second largest following Union Square.) Located at the northwest entrance to beautiful Prospect Park, this destination market brings together a diverse mix of shoppers from the Park Slope, Prospect Heights and Crown Heights neighborhoods. Runners, dog-walkers, families, singles and foodies, all converge to buy from the huge array of farm fresh products and participate in the free events taking place every Saturday all year long.

It's wonderful, love the variety of choices, quality and prices. It also adds a country fair vibe to the Grand Army Plaza (mid-Brooklyn) area every weekend - with the market, the library, Garden and Park Slope shops.
Being that it is in Brooklyn, it attracts all kind of people. The selections are great and the vendor knowledgeable. Lorenza
