Our beef is raised using rotational grazing management with NO grains, NO antibiotics, NO hormones, NO pesticides, NO herbicides, and NO artificial fertilizer. This practice is best for the animal, better for the environment, and produces a healthier beef product.
Grass fed beef is higher in heart healthy, brain enhancing and cancer risk reducing Omega-3 fatty acids. Grass fed beef is the richest source of cancer fighting CLA. It is higher in anti-oxidant, anti-aging Vitamin E and beta carotene. Grass fed beef is lower in saturated fat and lower in calories.
Grass fed beef is a safer alternative to "industrial" supermarket beef. Pasture animals have significantly lower numbers of E.coli and do not develop acid resistant bacteria which leads to disease causing microbes. Our pastured animals are fed no animal products and whence do not carry a risk for Mad Cow.
**All Beef orders except orders for the Beef Jerky Require Ice and an insulated box for shipping. Therefore We have a minimum order requirement of $50.00 or more in order to receive FREE UPS GROUND SHIPPING. Beef Jerky is excluded from this minimum order requirement since it is shelf stable. ORDERS PLACED FROM DECEMBER 15-31st WILL SHIP AFTER JAN. 1, 2011.
