Great River CSA

Great River CSA is a multi-producer CSA. The producers are Jacob and Miriam Hochstettler of Grassy Hill Farm, Jessica and Brad Whiston of Terripin Farm and Kate Daniels of Feiner Gardens. Miriam and Jacob raise pastured poultry, eggs and turkeys. They raise their own feed; the feed is non-GMO, no chemical pesticides or herbicides. Jess and Brad are experienced growers. They provide the bulk of the vegetables for the CSA. They have a booth at various farmer's markets in Quincy, IL; Hannibal, MO; and St. Louis, MO. Farmer Kate will primarily produce herbs and garlic. This year, she planted Inchelium Red garlic, an Arc of Taste food.

A full, charter season share is $450 for a basket of vegetables, some fruit, herbs and flowers. (more...)
