Green Mountain Grown specializes in Gourmet Pasture Raised Meats. All our meats come from animals that are humanely, pasture raised. Our beef comes from black angus beef cattle. Our veal is also from black angus beef cattle. Our veal calves are pasture raised along side their mothers. No confinement in crates, no milk replacer. They nurse freely at will and nibble lush grasses. Our lamb and pork is also pasture raised and comes from mainly heritage breeds.
At Green Mountain Grown, we believe in sustainable agriculture. We believe in raising animals in a manner that is harmonious with the environment and suitable for the species. We strive to produce wholesome meats with exemplary flavor while respecting the land and animals.
