Green String Farm

Green String Farm and its sister organization, Green String Institute, have three goals: to feed the local population with vibrant, healthy, and good-tasting food at affordable prices, to improve the health of the land that we steward by increasing soil health and the diversity of the ecosystem, and to spread knowledge of natural-process farming through our internship program, farm tours, and family events.

Our farm store is open year round, seven days a week, and features fresh, sustainably grown produce as well as dried herbs and fruit, our farm's olive oil and red wine vinegar, fresh eggs, and grass-fed, sustainably produced beef. The farm and institute are a joint venture between Fred Cline, a Sonoma winery owner, and Bob Cannard, a farmer who has been practicing and refining natural and sustainable farming methods for over 30 years.

This is my favorite one stop farm. They have a very large variety of organic produce & oils, as well as eggs & meat. And its fun to see the goats, chickens, kittens.

I love this place. I drop in on my home to see what's fresh from the garden. A few weeks ago I purchased some chard and it was the best I've ever tasted....fresh and crisp.
