We have had guineas at our farm on and off for 12 years. They are characters! We originally acquired the guineas for insect control, but quickly discovered they lay wonderful, richly-flavored eggs.
These are rather large guinea eggs, from the jumbo-sized French Guinea variety hens. Their very strong shells make them perfect for shipping!
The guineas eat with the chickens and ducks, but mainly forage for seeds and insects. Their loud, melodious calls enliven our back yard and garden.
Our garden seeds, yarns, and nuts make perfect gifts in synergy with our shared goals of environmental protection, sustainability, and food security.
Consider our wide range of heirloom vegetable, herb, and flower seeds as holiday gifts this year ~ grow your own and promote genetic diversity!
