Gunpowder Bison & Trading Co. was founded in 2004 and is a family owned and operated business. Currently our farm tends to over 250 bison that are able to be seen by visitors. GBT bison meat is raised on the farm. No hormones or feed additives are used and all processing is done under USDA inspection. Our meat is dry aged to produce a premium product. Our retail store is located on the farm and sells not only bison meat but a variety of bison novelties. We carry a full line of clothing including bison leather goods such as belts, wallets and shoes. If you are looking for a new buffalo recipe, we offer a great selection of cookbooks too! Our store hours are Wednesday through Sunday 11-6pm. GBT also offers farm tours where you will have the opportunity to see a bison up close and learn its history and come back from near extinction.
