We raise meat goats - primarily Boer and Boer crosses - and they truly enjoy the flora of the farm! These pasture/wood grazers are a delicious and heart-healthy meat, lower in cholesterol and saturated fat than chicken and with the iron and protein of beef.
The Boer goat is a breed originally developed by Dutch farmers of South Africa, known for a rapid growth rate and meaty carcass. They are desired for their high quality, lean, healthy red meat.
