Half Fast Farm

Half Fast Farm is home to Nubian goats, chickens, a horse and a variety of "pet" cats and dogs. The Nubian goats make the milk to make soaps which we sell at farmers markets and craft shows. Their milk also makes the fresh cheeses which are distributed amoung our share-holders. With drop-off points at the various farmers markets we participate in and with pick-up available at the farm.

We at Half Fast Farm are dedicated to the premise that all living creatures are created equal and that all domestic animals should be kept in as natural conditions as possible while still keeping them confined to a specific area and working diligently to ensure their health and well-being. To this end we have large pastures with trees, rocks, and assorted vegetation for the goats to browse on. While we do not allow the bucks to roam freely with the does, they also have a large pasture.

Our goats are CAE negative, they are kept on a rotating schedule of shots, wormings and foot trims to keep them in peak condition. We socialize the goats from birth and we participate each year in the FALMOUTH GOAT RACES, renting goats for compitition and companionship. Our goats are all registered with the AMERICAN DAIRY GOAT ASSOCIATION. We sell breeding stock goats, herd sires and pet quality whethers. We also do outside breedings from our stable of bucks.
