The Hammonton Farmers Market opens June 17, 2011 and continues every Friday night throughout the summer from 4 - 8 p.m. rain or shine. Hammonton is well known for it's Italian and Spanish heritage, agricultural history and it is also dubbed the "Blueberry Capital of the World". Come and taste some of the finest locally grown fruits, veggies and locally produced specialty foods! Picking up everything you need to make your weekend dinner with guests or the family a snap. Some of the items available include: locally grown blueberries, greens, herbs, vegetables and fruits, pasture fed chicken eggs and meats, fresh Atlantic seafood, Texas style barbeque, locally made bread, pasta, stromboli, the best bruschetta, pies made from local fruit, homemade ice cream, water ice, honey, jellies, jams, cookies , flowers for your table and your yard.
