Jewelry is hand-made here on the farm. We boil, dry, cut and polish the bone and transform it into "organic" jewelry. In keeping with Mountain and Native American tradition we save and use all parts of the animals that are harvested for our food. The making and wearing of this jewelry shows our appreciation and reverence for the animals that give their life to sustain ours!
This jewelry can be worn by people who have allergies to more traditional jewelry using metals for the chain and closure. We use cotton (leather-look) cord with a macrame style "slider" closure. This allows you to make the necklace the length you want.
