We sent some of our fleece out to be spun into sock yarn. This is a blend of 90% alpaca and 10% nylon. The skeins are 250 yards each, approximately 2.0 oz, fingering weight yarn. I'm told by my knitting friends that one skein will make a pair of adult sized socks.
Each skein is individually hand painted here at the farm, in whatever color strikes me at the time. And I don't take notes, so chances are I'll never be able to repeat any color combination, no matter how much I (and hopefully you) like it. It's a character flaw; I deal with it.
This skein is a blend of maroon, purple and pink.
