Most of the fleeces we have are raised right here on our farm.
Our yarns are washed and processed right here on our farm in small batches with no harsh chemicals. We use natural soaps.
We use sunshine to warm the water for washing fleeces. And then let them dry in the sun as well.
It is a time consuming process but well worth the effort.
Each step of the process is overseen by Katie. She is very particular about how the fleeces are handled and how they look!
We then hand spin the fleeces into yarn.
Each skein of yarn is as natural as possible and unique. There are natural variations in color and texture.
We have several natural colors available.
All of our yarns and processed fleeces are done naturally, even to the heating of the water! Natural soap is used for washing. Katie takes great care in hand processing to produce a superior product. With no harsh chemicals and friendly to the environment.
