Handance Farm has returned to its roots !. This fall we completed our move back to the 9 acres we own just outside of Wentworth. One acre and greenhouse are ready and waiting for spring planting . We plan to return to the permacultural and biointensive techniques we used on this land since 1986 and phase out our tractor. We will continue to produce our heirloom vegetables varieties as we have for 24 years, and to offer a portion of our harvest for sale as CSA shares. We will offer only 25 shares in 2010-while we turn an adtional acre of goat pasture into another veg and flower production area . In Jan of 2011 we will return to our usual 50 shares. And we are grateful for all we have learned in the 10 years we operated a larger leased farm up the road . thanks to all who helped us in that endeavor.
