Hanley Homegrown is a sustainable market garden situated in a half an acre of land, located 15 minuted from downtown Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Hanley Homegrown was established by Kelli Hanley as a direct result of her desire to return to an agrarian life after living in Colorado and New Mexico over the past ten years. The market garden was a way to combine her love of food with her love of the land.
We are committed to reconnecting the kitchen with the land. Our aim is to grow food that allows people to rediscover the simple pleasures of gathering and cooking with produce as close to its source as possible. Sustainable farming practices are at the core of Hanley Homegrown's philosophy. The gardens are based on organic principles growing heirloom varieties without the use of chemicals or artificial fertilisers.
Hanley Homegrown is a small market garden with a large work ethic of expanding hopes and ideals. We believe that what you put into the land is a direct result in what you get out. Our farm which will thrive from early spring (March) through late fall (November), will provide a bountiful variety of many different species. All of our vegetables and herbs are organicly grown, and are either from open pollinated, heirloom, or hybrid seed varieties. We will always offer organic produce that is interesting, tasty, healthy, and exciting to use for cooking and raw/cold preparation.
