Our main product is pastured poultry. We began raising chickens on pasture in 1999, in Salatin-style movable pens. In 2006 we raised 2500 chickens and 200 turkeys as well as 200 laying hens. All birds are moved every day onto fresh grass, and the laying hens are kept outside from the time the snow melts in the spring until we get snow in the fall. We do not use any chemical sprays or fertilizers on our farm, and the chickens are not fed any antibiotics, hormones or animal by-products. Beginning January 1, 2007 we will not be feeding any GMO grains any more. We also offer a chemical-free line, using organic grains. We process the birds ourselves in an on-farm state-inspected processing plant, and also do the packaging ourselves. (more...)
