Happy Hills Alpaca Farm is a small farm just south of Charlotte, NC.
We have about 12 alpacas usually of all ages and sizes. We specialize in
"fawns" but also have beige and black alpacas. Alpacas are beautiful and sweet
animals and can be very tame. Some of ours come up for kisses from us.
Alpacas are raised for their fleece or fiber and provide us with the finest fiber
that is on the planet. That's our opinion. In Peru, only the royalty could wear
Alpaca fiber.
It is very very soft (as cashmere) and hypoallergenic (unlike all other fibers) and also a natural flame retardant. It is therefore a perfect choice for baby
garments and clothing. We sell alpaca hand made baby clothing and processed yarn and roving (for spinners) as well as the unprocessed fleece.
