Updated June 15th, 2014. We are finished with strawberries and have moved on to blueberries! We've partnered with Bowlin Farm (115th & Kill Creek Rd) and have our honey available at two farmers markets - Overland Park (Blackbob) on Saturdays and in Desoto at Kill Creek Barn on Wednesdays. We've posted some photographs on our Facebook page, so be sure to go 'like' it! Here's a little about us: We sit in a beautiful valley on the western edge of Johnson County, Kansas, and for the last few years have grown berries of all kinds. We have a "pick-your-own" berry operation from late spring until the first frost in the fall. We planted more blueberry bushes in late April, 2012. We've added honey to our products, collected from our hives and sold right here on the farm. We also have a Facebook page for Happy Valley Farm, De Soto, KS, so look us up! On a side note, we now have a public restroom (a clean porta-potty) - so yay! :)
We are a small, family owned and operated farm, and are happy to be providing ourselves and our extended family and friends delicious food grown locally. Because we are not a large farm (yet), we must operate by appointment only. The appointments allow us to make sure we have fruit here for you when you visit the farm.
Thank you again for supporting your local farm families!
Blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, grapes, red raspberries, and now delicious honey grown in our beautiful valley. Summer produce as well as tours also available. Pick-your-own fruit's are delicious and fun for the whole family! Our orchard should produce fruits beginning in the fall of 2014. This picture shows a scout troop enjoying an afternoon picking raspberries!
