The Hardin County Farmer's Market is one of the oldest existing markets in the area. Located in Elizabethtown, Kentucky it began more than 25 years ago. Farmers from Hardin and surrounding counties make up the membership for the market. The market is open from the first Saturday in May until the last Saturday in October, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays beginning at 7:00 a.m. The market consists of approximately 30 vendors bringing you locally grown produce and products. All produce is member grown. The Hardin County Farmer's market has a full range of vegetables from corn to tomatoes, along with value added products such as meat, cheese, flowers (fresh and bedding plants) chicken, eggs, soap and a large range of baked goods including fresh baked whole wheat products.
The market has a wide variety of products for the customers but would like to have more fruit vendors. If you are a fruit producer (no re-selling) and are interested in selling fruit at the market please contact us before June 1st.
