Out standing in the field! Harford Farm is a small family farm, certified organic (NOFA-NY Certified Organic, LLC). We sell a wide selection of vegetables, herbs, cut flowers and some fruit at the Cooperative Farmers Market of Scranton. We grow varieties for the best taste and color, not because they ship well; heirlooms are a particular favorite. Being certified organic means we start our own tomato, herb and flower transplants from seed in our passive solar greenhouse. This extra step insures us of a supply of hard-to-find heirlooms like Brandywine, Orange Banana, Cherokee Purple, and Green Zebra tomatoes. We also grow rows of the favorite orange cherry tomato Sunsugar/Sungold and grape tomatoes.
